TopBetta, an Australian company which is at the vanguard of monetized sports and racing gaming, has been confirmed as the long-haul exhibitor kings of ICE, taking place this year on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th February, ExCEL Centre, London).
The company is based in New Lambton, News South Wales, Australia, and will be making the 10,556 mile (16,989 km) journey to launch its TopBetta tournaments (Stand S1-100) to an influential B2B audience at the world's most international gaming event.
The entrepreneurial company will be in London fresh from December's listing on the Australian Stock Exchange, which took its capitalisation to $19m. Explaining the potential of TopBetta, CEO Todd Buckingham said: "The ace up our sleeve is our fantasy betting platform, where punters buy fantasy currency to bet on real-life races, competing against their mates in tournaments. It’s designed for the social punter, or weekend warriors as we call them, and it allows them to stay in the driver’s seat rather than competing with bookies.”
The TopBetta offering, also enables businesses to engage their existing traffic in online daily tournaments and promotions revolving around global sporting events including the English Premier League, American National Football League and Indian Premier League cricket. According to Buckingham, all that businesses have to do is 'promote their tournaments and watch as their traffic earns them money.'
TopBetta's debut at ICE is part of an ambitious business plan which has as its end objective the aim to be the market leader in fantasy wagering. "We attended ICE four years ago, really in order to get a feel for the event and we are delighted and excited to be returning as a fully-fledged exhibitor" stated Buckingham. "We want to use ICE in order to establish good solid relationships with anyone that would be interested in sharing our tournaments on their site and have access to incredibly large prize pools.
"TopBetta already has $Millions of dollars worth of tournaments planned for 2016 including on the Premier League and the European Championships. These will all be available for partners and affiliates to run on their own websites. The fact that ICE is such an international event is a major reason for exhibiting. We are a global company and want to have our product in any country that wishes to take it, after all, every country has a passion for sport.
"London's a fantastic city and we are bringing our senior team to share in the experience of what we anticipate will be a landmark week for the company."
TopBetta has signalled its ambitious intentions with the recent appointment of former media executives Nick Chan (Seven West Media) and Simon Dulhunty (Fairfax Media) as as well as Melbourne Racing Club treasurer Matt Cain to its board of directors. Mr Chan will serve as chairman, with Mr Dulhunty and Mr Cain being appointed as non-executive directors.
Visitors attending the 'ICE Gaming Technopolis', will have access to 510 exhibiting organisations drawn from a record 62 nations and occupying a record 38,980 square metres of net stand space.
