Kevin Williams Speaker At China Theme Park Construction Senior Seminar 2016
Kevin Williams is Chairman of the DNA Association, Founder and Director of consultancy firm KWP Ltd., Editor of the Stinger Report, and internationally recognised as an expert in the Digital-Out-of-Home-Entertainment sector, and will be a key speaker at the upcoming China Theme Park Construction Senior Seminar 2016.
Williams will be taking his expertise and experience to this year’s seminar, running in conjunction with the Asia Amusement & Attractions Expo (AAA2016), to talk about the opportunities of the Digital-Out-of -Home Entertainment sector, aided by new immersive technologies such as virtual reality and simulation.
His unique and expansive experience of amusement and out-of-home-entertainment industries has given him incredible insights into the DOE arena. He has worked with leaders in amusement, commercial and military simulation, virtual reality, theme parks, game software and CGi technology; and has a working background as developer, manufacturer and originator (Williams is a former Walt Disney Imagineer).
At this stage in his career, Williams is well-known as a commentator in the trade media through his own publication, the Stinger Report, as well as contributing to highly esteemed p;ublications and online blogs including InterGame, Replay Magazine, Vending Times and Arcade Heroes.
He is also well known for his relentless advocacy for the DOE sector and the unique opportunities new technologies offer the amusement and entertainment industry, and has been speaking at several events around the world over the last few years in relation to investing in these opportunities. Williams is also the co-author of the book The Out-of-Home Entertainment Frontier.
The fourth China Theme Park Construction Senior Seminar 2016 will be held on March 7th--8th in Guangzhou, at the Zhu Jiang Hotel, and is organised by the Guangdong Grandeur International Exhibition Group and the Asia Attractions Magazine Agency.
It will be running alongside the newly named AAA2016 event, which is an integration of the China (Guangzhou) Int’l Game & Amusement Exhibition (CIAE) and China Guangzhou Int’l Theme Parks & Attractions Industry Exhibition (TPAE). The merger was announced on January 8 this year.
