Luigi Mansion Arcade New Game Mode & Name Change For Exclusive Stint at D&B’s
Luigi Mansion Arcade has undergone a couple of changes leading up to its’ exclusive summer stint in Dave & Buster’s locations across the US, including a new simple operation game mode and a name change!
Following a number of location tests and show appearances, the creators of Luigi Mansion Arcade have included a new simple operation mode, added March 17. It's an easier mode for children and beginners who had difficulties with the gameplay initially and it allows players to suck the ghosts up by pressing either the strobe or the lever button.
Many younger and new players can be overwhelmed by multiple control functions, so this new mode makes the game more accessible and easier to play for a wider age group of players, as well as for more casual players.
The other reported change is in the name, which has been made grammatically correct and is now titled “Luigi’s Mansion” Arcade, although this is yet to be officially confirmed by Sega or any other companies involved. The original title drew a lot of commentary from the community when the machine was first announced.
Sega has stated the Luigi’s Mansion arcade game will be available for purchase this Summer, and in the meantime players will be able to head to their local Dave & Buster’s to have a play.
More details to come, as they become available.
