Bandai Namco To Open Virtual Reality Project in Tokyo Plaza
On March 28, Bandai Namco announced that they will open a virtual reality experience area called “VR Zone: Project i Can” in Tokyo Plaza, starting from April 15. The virtual reality project will only be open for a limited time, until mid-October.

The VR Zone will take over approximately 5,870 square-feet and will act as a virtual reality research facility where Bandai Namco can gain feedback from users to pursue further commercial possibilities in virtual reality. The running of the project will work via appointments, which the company will start taking on April 8 at 12:00 JST.

The VR Zone will include six games or playable scenarios, including Fear of Heights Show (rescue a cat sitting on a thin plank 200 meters above ground); Skii Rodeo (a downhill skiing experience down a snowy cliff); Real Drive (a realistic driving experience in a sports car); Escape Ward Omega (a group horror experience where players enter an abandoned hospital and, according to reports, get attacked by zombies); Train Master (a railroad operation experience controlling trains as a train driver for JR Yamanote); and Argyle Shift (cinematic experience where you enter a giant robot battle).

The official website for the project is up and running, which you can see here, and the company has also released a promotional trailer, which you can watch below:
