Over 4000 people are set to flock to the Tacoma Convention Center in Washington State to expereinece more than 400 free play pinball machines. The event, being held over June 8 to 10 is in its 11th year. Players can take part in satellite tournamnets leading up to the show with prizes up for grabs. Weekend passes and tournament entries are part of the pre-event prize pool, with the event organizers giving away a pinball or arcade game every day of the three day show.
Five pinball tournaments will take place over the weekend, as well as pinball seminars and guest speakers. The event is run by volunteers and put together by the contirubtion of machines by at home and local gamers. Volunteers who contribute three or more of their own pinball or arcade games receive a free weekend pass for unlimited game play, as does anyone who volunteers 8 hours or more of their time to the event.
