Californian based gaming company Nomadic have partnered with Amsterdam based Vertigo Amusements to create their first Virtual Reality arcade in Orlando, Florida. The arcade, set to open in Fall of 2018 will feature Nomadic's new Zombie Apocalypse shooter game; Arizona Sunshine.
Opening at Pointe, Orlando, Nomadic will also build a VR Arcade Suite. This will include a content launcher for free-roaming location based VR titles.
Arizona Sunshine, the number 1 ranked VR arcade game has an emphasis on physical interaction in the virtual world. Players are able to touch physical objects in the game such as trains, helicopters and zombies. By creating the game in a permanent arcade setting, Nomadic hope players will have a more enjoyable, easy experience as there is no need to set up, move or pack away the game like in an at home setting.
Nomadic hope their success at the Orlando site will be enable them to follow up with new attractions in Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
