XYLITH Soundtrack by Coda Now Available for Pre-Order
Scarlet Moon Records is excited to announce the XYLITH Original Game Soundtrack for pre-order. Featuring chiptune artist and game composer coda (Ready Only Memories: Neurodiver, Omega Strike), XYLITH features an adaptive soundtrack composed in multiple layers that respond to the exploration and high-intensity action as players explore subterranean world of Eldriss and suppress an alien uprising. The key feature of the soundtrack is an 11-minute-long experience that takes listeners through all the soundtrack layers. Each soundtrack layer is also included separately for a more customizable listening experience along with music for the collectible music discs found throughout the game. The XYLITH Original Game Soundtrack is now available for pre-order on several storefronts with the full soundtrack release scheduled for March 6, 2020, one day ahead of the game's release on Steam.
XYLITH features a procedurally-generated world with seven distinct biomes filled with dangerous monsters and scarce resources. Several classic RPG elements are included, such as gradual level progression, questing, pets, crafting, and weapon upgrades.
About coda Getting an early start in the demoscene and chiptune scene, Ken Snyder (aka coda) is known for catchy melodies and authentic retro soundscapes. From the 8-bit era and beyond, Ken has crafted soundtracks and arrangements in a variety of styles, from synth-laden nostalgic '80s and '90s jams to progressive metal, in his signature stuck-in-your-head style.
Ken has worked on a diverse range of projects including RPGs (Ancora and YIIK), VR shoot-'em-ups (Horizon Vanguard), run-'n'-gun Metroidvanias (Omega Strike), platformers (Grave Danger), mobile titles and web games by Dreamworks Animation. He's contributed remixes to high-profile projects ranging from Shovel Knight and Fez to Duke Nukem 3D and Mighty Switch Force.
