Arcade Classics Filmed at Namco Station
The Namco Station at London's County Hall became a television studio for the day when a film crew from Gamer.TV hosted a programme on the world's leading arcade video games. The Hall is located on the south bank of the River Thames and opposite the British Houses of Parliament.
The games filmed at County Hall included Namco's Final Furlong, Crisis Zone, Ms PacMan and Time Crisis II. Namco press officer Paul Reaney, who was interviewed for the programme, said: "The production crew said how impressive the facilities were at County Hall. It was an ideal venue for a programme of this sort with its luxurious interior, prestigious location and the access it provided to the very best in classic arcade games.
The programme has already been commissioned by television companies in Asia, the Far East and Europe, thereby generating valuable international exposure for the video games industry.
