Konami have begun testing their latest game, titled Winning Eleven, a soccer game incorporating a new card reader system. Players can now build a teams abilities and skills with all data saved onto their card.

Winning Eleven background comes from its successful Playstation II. According to Eurogamer, "Winning Eleven is indisputably the most accurate and enjoyable simulation of football available on any system, and according to series producer Shingo Takatsuka, KCET has now set its sights on a football management game."

It seems that this football management will begin its release in arcades. Some developments include;

"Player statistics continue to contribute to the overall gameplay dynamic, and teams are noticeably different to one another not just overall, but in critical areas. Speed and accuracy with the ball are obvious ones, but stats can also make a difference in terms of how much control individual players have over the ball in one-on-one situations and in many other areas."

We will print Konami's official press release when received.
