EGO Forges Ahead
The European Gaming Organisation recently revealed its new logo at the European Casino Summit in France. To allow for a range of products that need separate identities but remain under the EGO umbrella a new and more flexible logo was needed. This change also shows EGO as a moving with the times and encompassing all aspects of the industry not just manufacturers.

Designed by Shelton International the logo builds on the 2 gold rings initially used for the EGO Summits in Malta and Portugal. All EGO products and services will use these rings as the basis for their own identities.

The first product to include the rings is the European Gaming Library, a service that will contain legislation and essential Governmental or Gaming Board contacts from each European Country and is available to EGO members free of charge. The library currently holds information on 14 countries with speedy growth in the available information expected over the coming months. Non-EGO members can purchase access to the information and interested parties should contact marketing@ego.nl for further details. Legislative documents will be available in the original language plus an English translation. Other language translations are available upon request.

As part of the ongoing remit to support key exhibitions a 3 year agreement has been signed with the Moscow based show EELEX, now owned by Russian distributor Unicum. This deal allows for joint promotion and special arrangements for EGO members at the exhibition. EELEX is the third of the 3 most significant shows in the Northern hemisphere along with G2E and ICE that is officially supported by EGO.

Secretary General Chris Brammer said "EGO has shaken off the past and is encompassing the changes that are re-vitalising the industry in Europe. Our aim is to provide a range of products and services to assist both operators and manufacturers throughout Europe. Also we would like to seek input from the individual national organisations to allow us to be fully representative at a European level"

Other areas of development will see the quarterly EGO Talk newsletter increase to 8 pages and include European Language sections. The EGO Website will also be re-designed to accommodate new areas such as the EGL and provide a more interactive service for users.

EGO will be present at G2E on booth no: 3165 and we welcome any visitors wishing to enquire about our future plans.
