Digital Centre Line up at the Recent AMOA Show
DC elected Las Vegas to launch the new Dr.FACE-4 photo booth machine. This new cabinet was highly accepted because of it's long life and for it's appeal as a traditional photo booth. It is specially designed for high traffic locations such as malls, cinemas, shopping centers, arcades & theme parks.
"Dr. Face 4' retains all the great features that made the original ‘Dr. Face' a surprise hit. Using the latest in computer graphics morphing technology, "Dr. Face 4" photographs customers' faces, modifies or edits them appropriately, then seamlessly inserts the altered image into colourful backgrounds, including a body selected by the customer. Digital alterations include changing both the customer's flesh tones and hairline, if needed, to match the chosen body.
All new images, characters, models, and backgrounds are featured in the CD-ROM software that accompanies "Dr. Face 4." Returning fans and new customers will be able to meld their faces with the bodies of new male and female models, plus an assortment of colourful personalities including gangsters, nuns, priests, fantasy characters such as wizards and sorcerers, and more.
"There is even a whole section of babies on the ‘Dr. Face 4' character menu, We have found that it's a very popular option for grownups to morph their faces onto infant bodies. Frankly, it's about the funniest thing a lot of people have ever seen! So we've provided a wide assortment of choices to accommodate different ethnicities, lifestyles, and settings."
"Dr. Face 4" can create group shots by combining up to five faces in a single image; each portrait is shot individually and then combined into the final postcard montage. This permits customers to portray themselves, for example, as mother and child, bride and groom, or various other themed combinations.

DC designed a special limited edition "HERO version" for the Dr.FACE machines in the USA.
Players can now stand shoulder-to-shoulder with a fire-fighter, a police officer, or even with the President of the United States, the honourable George. W. Bush, through the digital imaging magic of "Patriotic Heroes," the new digital imaging system from Digital Centre, exclusively represented in the U.S. and Canada by Apple Industries.
