40 years of TAB-Austria / Dattl Automaten
TAB-Austria recently celebrated it's 40th birthday, the company "Automaten Dattl" was founded 1962 by "Siegfried Dattl senior". It started as a one man operation by placing football tables in pubs. 40 years has evolved the company in many significant ways including in 1983 separation of the company into two:-
- TAB-Austria: development, production and distribution worldwide
- Dattl Unterhaltungselektronik: operation of terminals in pubs
TAB-Austria known for it's touchscreen entertainment terminals "Silverball". Silverball now has over 50,000 units operating, 13,000 of them connected to the ChampionsNet a online server for use in tournaments.
