LAI GAMES APPOINTMENT VALLEY DYNAMO
LAI Games, a subsidiary of Australian based Leisure and Allied Industries, has announced the appointment of Valley Dynamo LP as their new Distributor for North and South America.
The new arrangement is effective from November 1st 2002. Previously, LAI Games products were handled in that territory by Arcade Planet/Lazer Tron who were recently acquired by the Sierra Design Group and have announced that they intend to exit the coin-op industry at year end.
Malcolm Steinberg, CEO for the Leisure and Allied Industries Group said he was delighted to be associated with Bill Rickett and the Valley Dynamo Organisation. "They have established a distribution network for their existing products in North and South America and the LAI range of prize redemption games will compliment their existing product range. We feel very positive about our relationship with VDLP and will be working closely with them to market LAI products throughout the continents of North and South America. We see this as a significant step forward for LAI products in that region"
Valley-Dynamo's CEO Bill Rickett said his company was very excited about the opportunity to work with Malcolm Steinberg and LAI by representing the product line. "Their years of experience, plus the quality and earning power of their products are well known internationally. We believe it will be a welcome addition to Valley-Dynamo and our customers" VDLP will display the LAI Games product range at the forthcoming IAAPA Show in Orlando which include their latest hit product "Lighthouse" and the best selling basketball game in the US market "Slam n Jam".
