Acclaim Co-Founder Fischbach Resigns as CEO
Co-Founder of Acclaim Entertainment Inc. Gregory Fischbach has resigned from the CEO position he has held since the Company's inception in 1987 according to a press release issued by the company on Monday.
Acclaim has also announced that it has appointed Rodney Cousens who had been serving as the organization's Global President and Chief Operating Officer, as its new CEO.
Fischbach will continue with the organization as Co-Chairman and member of its Board of Directors. "We are entering a new era for this organization and I am very pleased to have Rod appointed as my successor," said Mr Fischbach, "Given his impact on our organization since the beginning of this calendar year, I am confident that he will continue to utilize his industry knowledge and leadership skills to benefit the organization."
