Bob Deith Joins Deith Group

Leon and Matthew Deith announced on Sunday 1 June, the appointment of their father, Bob Deith, to join them as non-Executive Chairman of The Deith Group board.

The Deith Group has enjoyed a meteoric rise since its inception as Leon Deith Sales in 1999, now being distributors for Sega, Konami, Presas, D-Gate, Unidesa, Uniana, Cromptons as well as supplying all the major fruit machine lines.

Deith Group now employs 14 full time staff and exports all over the world. It is also independently owned by Leon & Matthew Deith, who retain the family's name as the industries premier Distributor.

"It is a great honour for us to be able to benefit from our fathers experience in the industry and we are pleased that we have managed to persuade him to review our growth and steer us in the right direction" said Leon.

Bob of course is an international known industry figure having set up distribution, manufacturing and operations extensively in the UK and Europe as well as acquiring many of the major agencies during his time at Ruffler and Deith then Deith Leisure which was finally acquired by the Sega group.

Bob commented, "I am very impressed with the rapid growth of Deith Group and am delighted to being able to help take the company forward through it's aggressive roll out strategy. I will also maintain my consultancy company, Deith Associates Ltd, dealing with various international groups focussing towards deregulation."

Matthew said "There is no better person in the Industry to have as a non-Executive director, with all the experience and finesse that Bob has, he is globally respected throughout the industry and we are delighted that we have been able to twist his arm!"
