National Ticket Co. New Sales VP - Tim Timco
The board of directors of National Ticket Company has announced the appointment of Timothy J. Timco as Vice President of Sales. Timco, a fourth generation shareholder and great-grandson of co-founder, Nicholas R. Ludes, joined the company full-time in 1982. Prior to that, he spent his summers working in practically every facet of the operation from the plant to the office. Timco served as production and office clerk from 1982 to 1984, then, after attending Mount St. Mary's College in Maryland, Timco opened a sales office in Pittsburgh. In 1998, he moved to the headquarters office as sales manager. In 1999, he was named director of sales for the company. He is also a member of the National Ticket Company Executive Management Committee. One of the biggest influences in his career has been his uncle, National Ticket Company's Chairman of the Board, J. Edward Ludes. Bill Alter, Senior VP of Sales, also was an important coach in guiding Timco in the sales aspect of his career.
Timco is deeply involved with the future of National Ticket Company. With technology playing a huge role in ticketing, he is constantly looking for ways to offer clients alternatives to their admission and identification needs. Through partnerships and new products, National Ticket Company is preparing for a future where printed tickets become more than paper. They will incorporate Radio Frequency Identification chips and other technological advances to meet the needs of the amusement and entertainment markets.
Other promotions included William A. Alter, who was named Senior Vice President of Sales. Alter has spent his entire 45-year career with National Ticket Company and has enabled the growth and development of the company including overseeing the expansion and sales into foreign markets worldwide.
Earl Foura was promoted to Chief Financial Officer/Treasurer. Foura joined the company twenty-seven years ago, starting his career as the controller of the company, then becoming vice president of finance in 1982. Foura is a graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelor Degree in Accounting
Edward Ludes was promoted to Vice President of Production. Ludes attended Pennsylvania State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. He also attended the Rochester Institute of Technology and completed the course work for a Master of Science degree in Printing Technology.
In addition, John Conway, Information Systems Analyst for National Ticket Company, was given an added title of RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) Manager. Conway holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from Rochester Institute of Technology. Other officers of the National Ticket Company firm include J. Edward Ludes, chairman of the board, Robert J. Yost, president, and Margaret L. Timco, secretary.
