The CA Extreme show is almost here, July 26 and 27 and the organisers have released details of some last minute opportunities and deadlines, and some fresh info. The show is in its 7th year in San Jose, California where collectors and enthusiasts can come and enjoy the hundreds of arcade games that have been gathered for the show.
Apart from the games (ancient to modern, unique prototypes to popular favorites) you'll find speakers including industry insiders and experts from the pinball and video game fields, a pinball tournament with $1,000 in prizes, vendors, games for sale, and lots of friends who share your interest in the hobby! There are even expert players who will share their game techniques with you.

The CA Extreme organisers would also like to announce they have found a good place to park this year. "Free" parking is available in Park Ave. Garage (Standard Parking). Customers need to pay the flat $6.00 upon entry, obtain a parking ticket, and bring it in to Peggy Sue's diner for a validation stamp with purchase. Customers will then get their $6.00 returned on exit of the garage.
Want to sneak in really early? Friday is reserved for exhibitors and staff only this year, so all you have to do is bring a game or two to share. There is a limited number of opportunities left to sign up to help out. It's a great deal, sign your life away for a few hours and gain the prestigious title of "staff."
