SEGA Summer Private Show!
Post merger confusion and SEGA uses their Private Summer operator and distributor event in Japan to prove their strength – along with the surprise appearance of the third TriForce release, and the confirmation that the Korean developed CyCraft simulator will run a version of F-Zero as well as future drivers, SEGA showed a sneak peak of the their formative driving package for the Autumn season.

Arcade Anniversaries
Popularity of classic coin-op grows as the anniversaries of some of the most popular arcade dynasties is celebrated, though amusement may not be always sharing in the profitable revival. Stinger looks at the important landmarks of Street Fighter, Out Run, Pac-Man and Space Invaders – corresponding with Taito's fiftieth birthday.

Changes at Namco Europe!
Mentioned in Stinger #194 - confirmation came today that Namco Europe and Brent Sales had accepted the departure of a prominent director from their sales operation. Gary Newman, having handed in his resignation, completed the agreed time, and is now looking to make a stir outside the Japanese satellite.

New Arcade Concept to Blast London!
Brand new ‘fusion' amusement venue concept to burst on the London scene, located in one of the big trend setting areas of the metropolis – The concept hopes to be the new contender to bring the public back in droves to the mixed retail and playing experience. TSR has gained exclusive contact with the team managing this concept, the application of a new retail style selling of video games backed by a unique arcade site hoped for a Q4 2003 opening.

New Maxflight Simulator 'Thunders' in!
Maxflight has launched at the popular Daytona USA facility. The two seat simulator has been released with a brand new racing attraction that brings the exhilaration of high-speed racing and adrenaline pumping inverted motion to the tried and tested motion system.
