Arcade Planet Licenses Game Technology to Sierra Design Group

Arcade Planet, Inc., today announced that it has signed an intellectual property and joint development agreement with Sierra Design Group (SDG) of Reno, NV. According to the agreement, SDG will receive exclusive use of certain Arcade Planet patents and other technologies for the casino gaming market during the term of the agreement. SDG is a technology company dedicated to inventing innovative games and systems for the gaming industry.

Matthew Kelly, vice president of marketing at Arcade Planet, said, " SDG has demonstrated an outstanding ability to create new products and technologies for the gaming market. By combining our patented technologies with SDGs, we believe SDG can change the look and feel of casino gaming in the coming years. There will also be some interesting possibilities of bringing these new technologies back to the traditional coin-operated entertainment marketplace."

Bob Luciano, president of SDG, said, "Combining our intellectual property with Arcade Planet's will create outstanding opportunities for our organizations over the coming years. The synergy between our groups will create exciting and unparalleled products. The first slot machine using the combined technologies, called 'Diamonds in the Rain,' has already begun production."
