ATEI Overspills to Meet DemandThis article comes from Highwaygames.com ![]() Sales manager Karen Cooke explained: "Although we have taken the initiative to reserve the upper level and also taken bookings from a wide range of different companies, we need to generate a level of confirmed interest before the proposed expansion becomes practically and commercially viable. If we achieve this, ATEI 2004 will be the biggest show on record - by a significant margin." "The heightened pressure on available space is a result of existing customers increasing their requirements and an upsurge in the number of new exhibitors. All of the market indicators suggest that organisations are consolidating their marketing spend and supporting exhibitions such as ATEI and ICE, which provide tangible returns on investment," Ms Cooke said. The 273 exhibitors at ATEI 2003 occupied a total of 11,500 square metres (123,740 sq.ft.) of space and attracted a total of 14,312 visitors, 30 per cent of whom were from outside the United Kingdom.
