Brent Electronic Goes With Multi-Media Launch

Brent Electronic has chosen the biggest coin-op exhibition in the world as the venue to launch what it believes to be the amusement industry's biggest spares and components catalogue featuring thousands of components from many internationally renowned, specialist suppliers. They will release the catalogue - pictured at the 2004 ATEI trade show at stand 920.In a ground-breaking initiative at the show, Brent will also be making the 150-page publication available on a CD-Rom, with buyers able to receive CD-Rom updates of new products as they become available on the company's website, www.brentelectronic.co.uk.
Explaining the significance of the launch, Managing Director, Paul Desforges said, "With a stock holding the size of ours, encompassing a vast array of product lines from coin handling to crocodile clips, plasma screens to pool equipment and security devices down to soldering tools, a printed catalogue can only ever be a snapshot of our range at a particular time but this view is constantly changing."
"The CD-Rom is not only an economical way to update our customers with new product information, but it can also contain a vast amount of additional product specification material. The facility to receive CD-Rom updates means that customers without internet access can have a living database of new products as they become available. The market will be able to use the catalogue, CD-Rom or the website above as a comprehensive multi-media viewing platform with a secure, in-built e-commerce facility for non-account customers if required," Mr Desforges said.
