Brent Electronics and Netshift Join Forces

Brent Electronic and NetShift have announced what they are describing as "a strategic development and marketing agreement" to service the ever growing internet kiosk market.

The two companies have been collaborating on the development of PcCredit, a modular system which allows OEM's and integrators the opportunity to control the payment and/or payout facility of any equipment controlled via a PC. The system has also been fully integrated with the NetShift internet browsing software.

Peter Murphy, Brent Electronic's Sales Director stated: "The PcCredit system has been designed to meet the needs of organisations wishing to deploy kiosks, PC-based gaming machines, cyber café computers, or any form of coin-operated PC. The system can control coin, notes and tokens in any currency, add-on modules for magnetic stripe and smart cards, in addition to hopper payout options."

Expanding on the agreement, Nigel Seed, CEO of NetShift said: "Although we are the global leader in kiosk software with over 50,000 users, the market opportunities offered by this alliance with Brent Electronic are hugely expanded." He added: "The synergies between both organisations are obvious and I believe that we can look forward to a long and fruitful relationship."
