Czech Republic: 21st Country to Join Photo Play Net

The Czech Republic is the 21st country to connect to the Photo Play Net linked system, with the official launch of the GPRS-linked terminals on 5 July 2005 deemed highly successful by Funworld.Photo Play partner Roman Stefka had planned to link the first 100 Photo Play terminals to the Net by the end of July, however, on the first day 36 terminals were already linked, with 86 terminals connected by the end of the first week. "That surpasses all expectations," said Mr Stefka.
Over 17,000 Photo Play terminals are linked within the Photo Play Net, making tournaments easier to run both locally and internationally. Photo Play Net countries currently include Albania, Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, South Africa, Slovenia, Switzerland, Turkey and United Kingdom.
