Dorney Park Welcomes Revolution in 2004

Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom encourages thrill seekers to overthrow their fears on Revolution, pictured, a new thrill ride for the 2004 season. Revolution seats 32 guests in a circle facing inward and riders are suspended with nothing below their feet as the ring of seats rotates. Revolution swings the entire gondola 120 degrees in each direction to a nearly inverted position at 65 feet in the air.

"The Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom experience grows each season with the addition of exciting new attractions," said John Albino, Vice President & General Manager at Dorney Park. "Revolution is a great family thrill ride that complements the Park's collection of entertainment for guests of all ages."

Chance Morgan, Inc., Wichita, Kan., is the manufacturer of Revolution. The new ride has a capacity of 500 riders per hour and is located near Steel Force roller coaster. Guests may experience Revolution when Dorney Park opens for the season on Saturday, May 8, 2004.

There are even more new attractions slated for October with a huge expansion to the annual HalloWeekends event, including two new haunted house experiences, the Fright Zone and more. A refurbished catering area and other renovations top off the list of upgrades for the 2004 season.
