First Spanish Photo Play Championship

The first Spanish Photo Play Championship was held at the start of this month in a shopping centre in Oviedo where Spain's 32 best players competed in four different disciplines for the Spanish Champion's title and tickets to the Photo Play World Games 2006 in Majorca.

Photo Play's partner, Carfama set up 36 games terminals in the shopping centre from the 2-4 December 2005, which were available for the public to play free of charge on the Friday and Sunday.

The National competition was held on Saturday and was broadcast via four large-sized plasma screens. Winners included Santiago Camino, Cristina Monedero, Jose Arturo Alonso and Secundino Argüelles.
