First Worldwide Pinball Tournament

TAB-Austria started its first worldwide pinball tournament last week on December 18. The "Popstar" tournament operates via TAB-Austria's unique Online Tournament Management (OTM) System, with the winner of the tournament due to be announced on March 1 2004.

The "Popstar" pinball game boasts various levels of difficulty and many hidden features. "Popstar" also features fantastic sound experience and realistic tilt, as well as a bonus game, the "Side Game." The "Side Game" starts after a defined task in "Popstar" has been completed, and requires players to keep the ball on the track of a half pipe. Players can earn extra points when bonus symbols appear on the half pipe.

TAB-Austria has said that in the first few days of the "Popstar" tournament, player participation has exceeded expectations, and attributes this to the easy and free registration process via OTM.
