Gamexpo, the leading console game event in the Benelux Region, joins forces with Sp!ts and Telegraaf Expomedia for the fourth edition of the show, which will commence on 25 November, 2005. This year's show will be held in the Jaarbeurs in the city of Utrecht. The Show will enable visitors to test the very latest games and hardware over three days, with over 65,000 square feet of exhibition space for console and handheld companies, popular publishers, national and international game developers, mobile entertainment, and x-treme sports. The Lock and Load: Sp!ts Game Arena was originally scheduled to take place as an independent event, however, both Sp!ts and Telegraaf Expomedia wanted to enhance the impact of the tournament by joining hands with GAMEXPO. Sp!ts GAMEXPO targets both gamers, PC enthusiasts, and professionals in the entertainment business. In conjunction with the HCC!Days, the GAMEXPO event draws about 100,000 visitors to the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht each year. According to show organisers, the Sp!ts GAMEXPO is a fantastic multimedia platform that offers companies a unique chance to connect with their target audiences and meet on a one-on-one basis during the fair.
