Happ Controls Acquires Wells-Gardner's Coin Door Division

Happ Controls, Inc. is proud to announce that effective December 3, 2001, Happ Controls has acquired all of the assets of Wells-Gardner's coin door division. The purchase includes inventory, tooling, existing customer orders and other assets related to the coin door division.

This acquisition is a nostalgic one for Frank Happ. Back in 1980 he started the US division of Coin Controls then in 1986 started Happ Controls. In June of 1998 Coin Controls sold their mechanical coin door division to Wells-Gardner. Now, 20 years later, Frank Happ is pleased to see this company come full circle. The Wells-Gardner coin door line will complement the existing coin door line from Happ Controls.

Happ Controls will be moving Wells-Gardner's Coin Door Division to its corporate headquarters in Elk Grove, Illinois, and anticipates no interruption in service to customers.
