ICE to ship Ghostbusters Arcade on April 15

ICE has announced they will be ready to ship their new Ghostbusters Arcade machine this week, on April 15, while the new Ghostbusters movie is set for release in July.

The game is a collaboration between the ICE and Play Mechanix teams, using the Ghostbusters license - one of the most iconic and top-earning movie licenses in the world.

Joe Coppola, Vice President of Sales for ICE, said, "We were able to take an iconic movie license and create a truly awesome video redemption experience for players of all ages. The two-player game features an open air cabinet with eight different movie scenes and an exciting Stay Puff marshmallow man bonus, combined with a glowing cabinet that looks like it belongs in the movie. Ghostbusters will be a top earning game for years."

ICE’s Ghostbuster game is an electro-mechanical video redemption game that engages players by shooting balls at the screen to lock onto the ghosts with the proton guns' ecto-beam.

Players must navigate through the various challenging screens successfully and try to defeat the marshmallow man.

The cabinet features a 58” LED screen, two player stations with an LED lit bench, and the Ghostbusters marquee with licensed graphics featuring the iconic Ghostbusters logo.
