IGS begin shipping machines to Eastern Europe

Taiwanese arcade hardware and software developer IGS will this month begin shipping arcade products to clients in Eastern Europe, including the Czech Republic, Poland and Romania. Popular IGS arcade products include Percussion Master, Rock Fever, and Oriental Legend.

IGS expects the move will be very beneficial for the company, and is forecasting its total arcade gaming machine shipment volumes in 2009 to grow by 20-30% from 2008.

IGS also announced that their operation of online games in Taiwan accounted for 38% of 2008 revenues. IGS has expanded its R&D staff and plans to offer in-house developed online games in the fourth quarter of 2009, the company noted.
