IGT Selects Microcoin QL as Default Small Coin Offering

Astrosys International Ltd announces the selection by IGT of its Microcoin QL coin acceptor - pictured - as the new default unit for IGT's small coin offering. After an intensive and exhaustive selection process, involving all major coin acceptors currently available to the Gaming market, the Microcoin QL has been chosen by IGT as the replacement for the coin comparator."This has been an extremely thorough and important project, as it forms the corner-stone of our future coin strategies", said Randy Hedrick, Sr. Vice President, Product Development. "We require the security and scope of fully electronic coin validation technology to complement the advancements in technology within all aspects of our Gaming platforms", he said.
