For G2E 2005 a yet more comprehensive range of products will be exhibited, with the latest designs on show alongside trusted favourites. Pride of place goes to the Ardac 5 (World Acceptor), PICTURED, a world proven, self contained bill and optional barcoded ticket/coupon acceptor with a cassette stacking system, offering a fast, high performance, high security solution for a wide range of applications. With over 100,000 units installed in over 80 countries worldwide, reliability is a key feature which Money Controls has invested heavily in to ensure that the Ardac 5 meets all expectations. The latest model achieves optimum performance levels and features have been further enhanced to make it compatible with all major OEM machines. PayLink is another new product for G2E. PayLink is a module which allows payment peripherals to be harnessed quickly to new machine platforms with no need for bespoke software, dramatically reducing the time to market. It uses a variety of industry standard protocols to communicate with peripherals, such as Ardac 2, ID003, ccTalk and MDB, but whichever protocol is used, the process is designed so that all peripherals can be exchanged with the minimum of fuss. Available as a package including the required software for easy connection to the host, PayLink's embedded software provides all credit handling, error checking and diagnostics, and access to ongoing updates for peripheral and enhancement upgrades.
