New Boss at Sega Europe

Following the recent departure of David Barron, Sega Enterprises Japan have appointed Paul Williams as the new Chief Operating Officer in charge of Sega Amusements Europe Ltd, the European arm of the video giant. Paul Williams has worked for SEGA for 7 years initially at the Trocadero and more recently as European Sales & Marketing Director. Prior to this he was employed by Granada, First Leisure and Mecca operating everything from nightclubs, bars, restaurants, bowling centres, health & fitness, snooker and bingo clubs. He has a wealth of both operational, marketing and sales experience. Commenting on the new role Paul Williams said, "I am extremely pleased and humbled to be given the opportunity of running this market leading company. It is a big challenge which I hope to live up to and there are some exciting times ahead."
