OutRun2 - Europe to Take on Japan

Observation of the Worldwide Internet Ranking site for OutRun2 players has revealed that Japan boasts the best drivers. Sega launched the ranking site in December last year, which allows players to input their fastest track times according to the type of Ferrari they drove and the track that they used. Players' times are then entered onto a worldwide leader board highlighting the country where the best players come from. Currently this country is Japan.

Paul Williams, Sales & Marketing Director of Sega Amusements Europe said that despite the recorded trend, he is sure there must be better European drivers out there. "After all, I don't see many Japanese drivers winning Formula 1," Mr Williams said. Mr Williams said European players and operators should visit the ranking site and place their scores. "Lets get some European drivers into pole position," he said.
