Photo Play Announces New Head of Product Management

The beginning of August 2004 saw Viennese Manfred Albrecht assume his new position as head of the Photo Play product management department at Funworld's headquarters in Schörfling, Upper Austria. Before joining Funworld, Albrecht had been marketing manager of Sony Entertainment in Austria for 3 ½ years during which he had been in charge of the market launch of Sony's Playstation 2.A year working as product manager for JoWood Productions and a stint at Microsoft as marketing manager for the Xbox, has honed his perception for the interests of young people. "No doubt my background experience has equipped me well for the further development of Photo Play," said Albrecht, who said he is looking forward to his new challenge.
