Sega's Got Becks Appeal!

Sega has announced it will have on its stand at this years ATEI one of the star players of its new Virtua Striker 4. Sega is promoting all of its big new titles with staff on hand to explain in more detail and Virtua Striker 4 is no exception. The game features 64 different countries and allows the customer to be virtually any player imaginable on the international circuit. Players can choose to be Zidane, Rooney, Henry, Owen or Vieira. This is the latest game in the Virtua Striker series, and it brings the idea of football management and player realism to the highest level. Utilising the new technology of Player Smart Cards, the customer enters an extra dimension of game play experience. With amazing quality the famous footballers are recreated with life like features. The player card system lets the customer be 'the manager' and create and control his team to their best ability.

Players can customise their team, swap players, see their team progress the divisions from entry league through to International matches. They can assess their on- pitch player's energy levels at half time and make subs as necessary, but equally their players can be penalised for yellow and red cards and will automatically receive a ban. The team will also have a home stadium that can be customised as the team success increases. There are extra buttons that allow the customer to choose strategies, tactics and team formation. Also new to this edition is the 'Dash' button for when that extra pace is needed. It has not been confirmed if any players, such as Totti, would be at the stand to promote the products, however, Justin Burke of Sega said, "that visitors to the stand would not be disappointed."
