Shrek Pinball now shipping from Stern

The extremely limited run of the officially licensed Shrek Pinball is now shipping from Stern. The machine features a mini-playfield, figurines of five Shrek characters, lots of multi-ball action, and is limited to a run of only 250.

The Pinball was designed by Pat Lawlor Design, and features art from John Youssi. Mark Galvez and Tom Kyzivat created original dot matrix display art for the pinball. The mini-playfield is the standout feature of the machine, and is based around the Donkey character from the movies. The mini-playfield has mini-flippers that the player controls with the regular flipper buttons whilst in the mini-playfield mode, and there are lots of ramps and targets to shoot. Whilst in the mini-playfield mode, an actual Donkey figurine spins in front of the mini-playfield.

Other figurines of popular Shrek characters featured on the main playfield are Shrek, Puss in Boots, Princess Fiona and Gingy.

"SHREK pinball has great depth and is fun and easy to understand for the casual player. This is a great game for both home owners and game operators," said Gary Stern.
