Stella Gains Favourable Ruling in Cashline Lawsuit

Stella International is pleased to announce that it successfully took a Spanish company to court which was found guilty of imitating Stella's successful product, Cashline - pictured. The court pointed out that the defendant acted in anticompetitive practice, while replicating exact elements of the Cashline game concept.The lawsuit was held in second instance in Murcia, Spain. The court ruled that the defendant must immediately cease production and distribution of the Cashline counterfeits. In addition the company must withdraw its products from circulation. This court decision is important for all manufacturers of AWP machines and will give Stella and its competitors better protection for their products in the future.
Since Stella's launch of Cashline, the popular game has sold impressive quantities over the years. Its revolutionary and innovative features brought a fresh dimension to the Spanish market. Cashline still holds the record for the largest quantity of a European stepper AWP to be produced in Luebbecke. All Stella products are produced in the German Luebbecke-based factory of the adp Gauselmann GmbH.
