Super Bikes make World Cup player debut

Super Bikes, the new motorcycle video game manufactured by Raw Thrills and distributed throughout the UK, Europe and the Middle East by Brent Sales/Namco Europe, has made its player debut at one of the most prestigious sporting events, the FIFA World Cup.

England squad members will be the first non-trade players of Super Bikes. The game, which first appeared at January's ATEI, begins its first round of shipments to locations throughout Europe this month.

Brent/Namco Sales & Commercial Director, John McKenzie commented: "We were delighted by the invitation from HB Leisure to help the England squad limber up for the Finals in a less conventional manner. They'll certainly benefit from using the games not only for a bit of rest and relaxation but also to sharpen their reaction skills in a highly enjoyable way without risking injury." He added: "Changing gear on Super Bikes is achieved via a handlebar-mounted button, so there won't be any danger of Wayne Rooney aggravating his recovering metatarsal with a toe-shift changer!"
