Survey Results Show EAG Expo's Growing Importance

BACTA, organisers of the EAG Expo in London, claim that results of a recent survey of exhibitors clearly indicate the growing importance of this young show. Using online survey tools BACTA polled exhibitors at this coming January's EAG Expo 2011 to discover how many companies and products will be available for visitors to see.Martin Burlin, Chairman of EAG Ltd explains: "It is easy to count the number of stands that have been booked but we were interested to find out a bit more about what visitors will actually see when they get to the show. For example we know that many exhibitors are distributors or representatives for other companies and will have their product on display. We also know that most exhibitors will have more than one product range on their stand and most importantly we wanted to know how many new products will be there."
Statistics collected indicate that 37% of exhibitors will also have an average of three other companies represented on their stand. 59% of exhibitors indicate that they will be displaying between one and three new products, 30% say that number is between four and 10 and 2% are planning a whopping 10+ new products! And 71% of exhibitors estimate that they will have up to five product ranges on their stand.
Burlin concludes: "This was a simple survey and we do not claim 100% accuracy but it provides a reasonable indication of what visitors can expect. They can be certain to see hundreds of companies demonstrating a huge amount of equipment, a lot of which will be newly launched. Exhibitors clearly take this event very seriously - 61% rated it the most important show that they attend - so EAG Expo 2011 is going to be a fantastic start to the new business year and an essential trip for any operator".
The EAG Expo takes place from the 25th - 27th January at the Excel Exhibition Centre in London.
