Tab Austria Silverball terminal, can now be upgraded to version 7. This version includes the introduction of the GPRS standard modem which allows mobile phone sellers to bring even secluded terminals online. Through the GPRS modem the operator has the possibility to link the terminals to the SILVERBALL online services without installing a phone or network connection.

The GPRS technology offers a sufficient data transmission rate in order to use all online services of the SILVERBALL terminals. The highscore transmission for the ChampionsNet as well as the services for the Online Terminal Management (OTM) can be used via this connection impeccably.

The other major upgrade is that users of the Silverball terminal can now surf 3 windows at once. The big demand for several Internet windows has been realized promptly by the developing department of TAB-Austria. This makes it possible for the user to look at three Internet addresses at the same time and getting more information even faster. The software update which includes the new Internet browser will be installed online on all linked terminals.
