This year’s IAAPA Attractions Expo finished on the 16th, and it seems to have been a great success! Over 40,400 people registered to attend the event, and there were 25,500 qualified buyers on the floor. The association also celebrated its 100th anniversary at the event, and awards were given to companies including ICE, QubicaAMF and Australia's own Luna Park.

The GEA Summit, organised by Phil-Asia Gaming Expo (PAGE) was held at Cove Manilla on the 14th of November, 2018. More than 2,500 guests (including 300 B2C VIPs) from all sectors of the industry gathered to view the latest and hottest products in the industry. The event hosted local DJs, live bands and dancers to provide entertainment for the many guests and create a lighthearted event.

India-based amusement manufacturer and operator, Smaaash, released a number of new products at this years IAAPA Attractions Expo. This included virtual reality experiences like dinosaur-themed Jurassic Escape, an update to their Finger Coaster virtual roller coaster and a new basketball game, Hoop Shot.
