Tekken 7 World Arcade Championship EU Qualifiers at Paris Games Week

Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe is announced the TEKKEN 7 World Arcade Championship EU Qualifiers will take place at Paris Game Week in partnership with the ESL on October 29!The company has set up an official facebook event to track attendees and to post information about the event. According to the hosts:
16 players will take part in this high level tournament where not only is there a €1500 prize pot and goodies on the line, this tournament is a fight to determine the 3 best European players to fly to Japan to compete in the TEKKEN 7 World Tournament in December. A difficult challenge to take on the best TEKKEN fighters in the world which has 10 million Yen on the line and the title of TEKKEN World Champion!
The TEKKEN 7 World Arcade Championship EU Qualifiers will take place during the Paris Game Week on the ESL Arena on Thursday, October 29th. 16 of the best European players will participate for 3 qualifying places.
If you think you are strong enough, brave enough and determined to reach the finals to earn your place in Japan, 4 places are still open for the EU qualifying finals! Test your skill against formidable opponents at the ESL Arena during Paris Game Week on October 28th, and join the other 12 finalists!
12 other players will also be invited to the finals:
- 5 European Top Players, carefully selected for their skill and experience on the TEKKEN games, will be invited by the ESL.
- 7 players will have qualified through Community Tournaments around Europe (TEKKEN World in Spain, Ultimate Tournament in France, Red Fight District in the Netherlands and Poznan Arena in Poland). They have already shown their strength through highest level of competitions so will be formidable opponents!
The tournament will be played on TEKKEN 7 Arcade using MadCatz FightSticks.
For those not able to attend, don’t worry! The finals will be broadcasted live in English on Twitch!
We reported earlier this year that a world tournament, The King of Iron Fist Tournament, would once again be taking place in 2015, but this is the first news we've heard on the matter again since July. I hope the European champions are ready to test their skills - best of luck to all entrants!
