Stern Finally Announces the Avengers Pinball Machine!

On Thursday 29th Stern Pinball Inc. finally announced the details of their long awaited Avengers machine. The pinball powerhouse has announced they will be making four coin op versions: a Hulk Limited Edition, Avengers Limited Edition, Avengers Pro and, to be released in 2013, Avengers Premium. The new machine from the Stern collection memorializes the franchise and their longevity and influence within popular culture since 1963 when the comic book series was first released."Throughout the years The Avengers have cultivated a loyal and energetic fan base," said Gary Stern, founder, CEO and Chairman of Stern Pinball. "Stern is pleased to have the opportunity to give these fans an Avengers pinball game to enjoy for years to come."
The machine is a beautifully designed game by George Gomez, who has done designs for several other popular Stern machines, such as Batman. The game features a dynamic setting and playfield that incorporates all six iconic heroes - Iron Man, the Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow. The game has plenty of cool features to pique the interest of fans, including ramps, drop targets, a spinning cube target, and a custom molded, interactive Hulk character available in all versions.
The aim of the game is to help assemble the Avengers team in order to defeat Loki, making this game perfect for old and new fans alike. If your a huge fan of the franchise, but haven't played a lot of pinball, don't worry, because Stern has you covered. All versions come with both build-up and advanced rules so fans and players of any competency level can play and enjoy the game.
The machine will be one of the main attractions at the Stern Pinball booth at the EAG International 2013 trade show in January!
