Funworld has released details of its Photo Play Sportster Xtreme terminal, the first flexible terminal for the touch screen market according to the company. The terminal can be set up to be played sitting or standing due to its lack of sides and the monitor's tilting angle and height are individually adjustable. The monitor is tiltable from 10 to 65 degrees and height adjustable from 1100 to 1400 mm."The advantages for operators are obvious, this flexible terminal provides absolutely new placement options," said Marco Huter, Funworld Ag's chief marketing and sales officer. Although the company's focus will be on the modern restaurant and catering industry, the Sportster is also very suitable for other waiting areas such as airports.
The Photo Play Sportster Xtreme's first two official appearances have already suggested its success. The flexible terminal was a highlight during both the jubilee celebrations at Funworld's headquarters in September and the Fer Interazar in Madrid.
According to Funworld, the flexible Photo Play Sportster Xtreme seamlessly ties in with its Xtreme-Generation range and completes the product portfolio. The terminal features Powerbox Xtreme hardware technology, an integrated USB Web camera with automatic picture illumination and brilliant graphics on a 17" TFT LCD monitor. The terminals are linkable via DSL, ISDN, analogue and GPRS and boast a stereo sound system and the latest Elo touch-screen technology.
