Last year's competition saw hundreds of competitors progress through rounds of elimination until Berkeley, CA resident Jesse Sechak defeated Mikey Christian from La Habra, CA to become the $2,500.00 winner and first-ever uWin Champion. For this years competition three games have been selected for match play: Kubis Gone Wild, Tri-Elevator Gone Wild and Pharaoh's Run. Each match is single elimination – the loser is out and the winner progresses to the next match. Players will receive three progression opportunities in the Qualifying Rounds and two progression opportunities in the Semi-Final Rounds. The Qualifying Round and Semi-Final Round schedules are flexible. Each will begin whenever 16 eligible players are ready. From each 16-player Qualifying Round, two players will advance to the Semi-Final Rounds. And, from each 16-player Semi-Final Round, two players will advance to the In The Money Showdown. Sixty-four players will compete for $62,000.00 in total cash prizes.
