Visionland Park Back on Track

With the help of a new management team, VisionLand amusement park, which at one point owed $3.2 million and was on the verge of bankruptcy, has shown a return to profits.

Whilst Visionland showed a small profit of $36,000 for last year, the turnaround has been well received with the reason accounted for reducing operating expenses from $5 million to $1.5 million.

VisionLand, located about 15 miles west of Birmingham (Alabama, USA), was built with $60 million in publicly backed bonds guaranteed by Birmingham and 10 smaller cities.
