LAI, once the largest distributor in Australia, has begun closing some of its state branches to consolidate their sales division to Melbourne. We have been informed the West Australia and South Australia sales offices have already closed.

Last month saw the long time distributor Associated Leisure P/L from Queensland, also close its doors.

Many people still believe the exclusive rights regime which has been operating in this country has "killed" off many of the smaller operators by restriction of products and high pricing.
