A wider and better range of products were displayed today at Jamma 2008 Trade Show, with plenty of good money making machines for game operators. Many were still in development but the line up of products was excellent, Namco leading the way with one of the most impressive booths and game titles.

Talk amongst operators was that this year's show had a good mix for both the Japanese and Export markets and its been a long time for this writer to see the amount of products suitable for export. As a summary;

Namco

Razing Storm: the perfect follow up to Time Crisis 4, set in 2030, take on terrorists as part of special forces unit.
Tekken 6 - Bloodline Rebellion + Maximum Tune 3 DX: both to be released later this year
Nirin: street circuit motorbike racing, nicely presented with 5 courses to choose from

Sega

Harley Davidson - King of the Road: A beautifully presented motorbike game with a 62 inch screen that will do well in large venues
Hummer: full motion dedicated 50" simulator for your offroad driving
House of the Dead EX: sold as dedicated or upgrade your Too Spicy cabinets
Touch Striker: touch screen soccer game controlled by touchpen
Sega Rally 3: to be released for general sales in October
Rambo: gun shooting twin with cut screens from movie and released to the market

Taito

D1GP - Professional Drift Game: drift your car through the course to collect points and beat your opponent
Space Invaders - Redemption: stomp on the fire buttons to take out the space invaders and win redemption tickets
Hopping Road: fun to play novelty game, bounce on the platform to control rabbit through course

Other new releases included Triple Catcher Ice Twin (Atlus), Vulcan Wars (Atlus), Tatsunoko vs Capcom - Cross Generation of Heroes (voted one of the best games at the show) (Capcom), Arcana Hearts 2 (Examu), Virtua Fighter 5R (Sega), The Grip (River Services), and Delta 32 (River Services).
