| Mark Zuckerberg, creator and CEO of Facebook, announced yesterday on his (you guessed it) Facebook page that the social media giant was buying Oculus Rift, the virtual reality development company that created the Oculus VR headset, for a reported US$2 billion dollars. |

| Thomas Wagner apporached Mack Rides about the possibility of a virtual reality rollercoaster experiment in February of this year and, together with his students from the Kaiserslautern University in Germany, they took an Oculus Rift headset onto a real rollercoaster to create an intense virtual experience. |
